This beautiful Grande Dame influenced the sophisticated society and the artistic refinement of her era, which is reflected in this radiant fragrance. Essentially a diaphanous cloud of bright white musks and "white" patchouli, the fragrance gains a spicy and herbal edge through the fascinating use of ginger (for heat) and anise (for coolness).
