Collection: Profumum Roma

The story begins with Celestino Durante returning from World War II to his small hometown of Sant'Elena Sannita, a community known for farming, livestock, and knife-grinding. Armed with a strong work ethic, Celestino and his wife Luisa moved to Rome in search of opportunities. Many young men from Sant'Elena, initially working as knife grinders on bicycles and scooters, eventually opened shops, expanding their trade to include shaving soaps, hair lotions, and colognes. Over the years, these men from Sant'Elena became renowned perfume makers, with their names gracing the most beautiful streets of Rome.
